The consumer will always choose who are the leading Monster Supplements.
So how do you difrenciate a good supplement?, well this can be done in many ways, if you are about to choose a product or brand you are normaly blind sided by the marketing of the Monster Supplement brands such as BSN, CEL Supplements, Optimum Nutrition & Phd Nutrition, all of whom have a tendancy to place huge emphasis on marketing to ensure you identify their product as being the best Monster Supplement of them all.
But its not all about marketing and more often these days do you hear "I tried that product and it did not live up to the hype" and this is becuase most brands chasing the Monster Supplement recognition are over selling their brand .
The bodybuilding industry has changed over the last 5 years and is now becomming more majority focussed than minority, and with that I mean sport supplement companys are moving away from the steroid bodybulding image "minority" and are now focussing on the more natural athletes "majority".
Rather than having your Mr Olympia pushing your brand it is now seen as more appealing to have a world champion cycalsit carrying your brand, and this is largely due to the average consumer becomming more brand enducated and seeing the "handle bar shoulder physique" as an unrealistic goal.
This makes the title of becomming the Monster Supplement more challenging for the supplement brands.
Gone are the days of when a vein bulging, 250 kilo weight pushing Supplement Monster had a tendancy to impress and encourage supplement usegage.
So what enocurages usegae these days in the forever evolving world of cheap discount supplements, is it price?, is it marketing appeal, or is it sport and supplement sepcific products?, the truth is its now a comercialised combination of all three.
I also think that nowadays if you over market a product that doesnt do what it cliams you will be found out rather quickly in this industry, as consumers are now only to aware of what is good and what is not when it comes to sport supplementation and supplement results.
If your product is clean, and your marketing is honest and the product works well then the chances are it is the consumer who will choose what supplement deserves to be the "Monster Supplement" of choice, not some glossy magazine advert, or mass media exposure. It is results and sport supplements performance, and in my oppinion this is the way it should be.
CEL Supplements are a brand whom lead by example by stipulating a non endorsement fee athlete policy, meaning that any athlete or sporting individual who use the CEL brand will be backed with nutritional value only, and will not be paid to say the product is somethinag that it is not. This in my oppinion is really important becuase if you see an athlete who has won a competition in some magazine, or is paid an annual endorsemnt fee to promote a specific supplement product, who is to say the results that they promote of that product are to be trusted? This is a policy that I think most supplement companies should now embrace.
But the long story short is that consumers are not that uneducated these days when it comes to Monster Supplements, and they will no longer accept a glossy magazine advert or some geneticaly enhanced bodybulder's word, that a Monster Supplement works or gives you results just becuase manufacturer said so.
Its the consumer who will now decide what is Monster and what is not, when selecting who should carry the Monster Supplements title. We truly believe the most monster brand on the market to date right now is Anabolic Designs Stampede, and the product who wins Monster Supplement of the Year - Critical Mass 2700.
