Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals presents Somatophen, a potent growth hormone stimulator. It is a fact that growth hormone increases lean body mass (muscle) and decreases bodyfat but as we get older growth hormone release slows. As it slows, the body experiences a loss of muscle size, strength and density which can lead to health problems. But there is good news. A study performed at Rome Medical Clinic V showed arginine pyroglutamate (l-arginine-2-pyrrolidone-5-carboxylate) significantly raised growth hormone levels when taken orally with l-lysine HCL. A dosage of 1 - 2 grams of l-arginine pyroglutamate and 1 - 2 grams of l-lysine was used.

The results were remarkable. Within 90 minutes of administering the combination, growth hormone levels increased up to 700% above normal levels. Equally amazing was that even 8 hours after this mixture, growth hormone levels were still elevated at much as 300%. Another surprise was that even with daily, year round use, growth hormone elevation was consistent with no undesirable side effects. What does this mean for the athlete? Growth hormone increases the rate at which amino acids are picked up and enter the cell for metabolism into protein. This is referred to as anabolism. The more protein available to the muscle cell, the greater the potential for an increase in the size and actual number of cell tissue.

Considering the fact that muscle tissue is 80% protein (dry weight), it's easy to see how important protein and the rate it's delivered to cell tissue is to muscle development. Although growth hormone is released on a 24 hour cycle, the peak points of release are the first few hours of deep sleep (known as R.E.M.), after an intense workout, and upon arising in the morning. Research has shown that proper usage of Somatophen can cause the pituitary gland in the brain to release greater amounts of growth hormone for an extended period of time.

The same research shows increased growth hormone levels directly increase lean body (muscle) while at the same time decrease bodyfat (oxidation of fat tissue). This means a more muscular, leaner body for athletes. Don't be confused by companies advertising arginine. All of the results above were achieved only with l-arginine pyroglutamate with l-lysine HCL. Directions
Suggested Use: Citric As an adult dietary supplement, Somatophen is best taken at bedtime on an empty stomach. The bedtime meal should be at least 3 hours before consumption. Every seven days: Take two (2) tablets for five consecutive days, then take two days off.
